Our approach

This website is built to work without tracking. We do not use analytics, advertising cookies, social media widgets or embedded third-party videos. Any links to social media are plain links.

Irish law (S.I. No. 336 of 2011, Regulation 5) covers any storing or reading of information on your device, not only cookies: for example local storage. Anything that is not strictly necessary for a service you ask for needs your consent first.

Cookies on this website

This website sets no cookies. It is hosted by Cloudflare, and Cloudflare sets no cookies on it either. For that reason there is no cookie banner.

Fonts, icons and scripts are served from our own website, not from third parties.

Your quote list

When you click "Add to quote", your browser keeps your quote list (product, lid, quantity and the date you added it) in its session storage on your device. It contains no name, email or other details about you, it is not sent to us, and it is deleted when you close the browser tab. When you choose to send a request, the list is copied into a new email in your own email app; nothing is sent until you send that email. We use the quote list only so that it works, so it does not need your consent.

When a page loads, it may also delete quote lists left in local storage by an earlier version of this website. It does not read them.

Request a quote page

The Request a quote page loads no anti-spam check and no other third-party service. When you choose to send your request, your own email app opens. How we use the details in your email is explained in our Privacy Notice.

If this changes

If we ever add analytics or other non-essential technologies, we will ask for your consent first: "Accept" and "Reject" will be equally visible, nothing will load before you choose, and a permanent "Cookie settings" link will let you change your choice. This page will be updated before any such change.
